A man suspected of stealing electrical cables was paraded in the Amarata area of Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, after being apprehended by a local vigilante group. The arrest occurred in the early hours of Sunday, 26 July 2026, at Ompadec, Amarata, while the suspect was allegedly removing cables from a residential property.
