Three men have been sentenced to two years imprisonment for attempting to steal goats in Niger State. The convicted individuals, Mashood Abdullahi (30) from Maitumbi in Minna, Danlami Ali (40) from Bosso, and Sabastain Madsnga (49) from Shiroro, were apprehended following a failed midday operation in Lapai Local Government Area of the state.
The incident, which occurred recently, had stirred tension within the community. The court handed down the sentence after the trio was found guilty of attempted theft. The judgment serves as a warning to others who might engage in similar criminal activities.
