The United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has included Ghanaian socialite and musician Mona Faiz Montrage, widely known as Hajia4Reall, on a list of the most dangerous criminal aliens in the country. This list, referred to as the “Worst of the Worst,” was published by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
Details of the List
The list features 355 West African immigrants who have either been deported or are currently facing deportation proceedings. Among them are 30 Ghanaians. The offenses cited in the broader list range from shoplifting and fraud to cocaine possession, domestic violence, weapons-related cases, and allegations of child cruelty.
Hajia4Reall's Inclusion
Hajia4Reall, who was previously deported from the United States, appears on the list specifically for fraud committed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A DHS notice accompanying the list stated, “The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is highlighting the worst of the worst criminal aliens arrested by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.”
The statement on the U.S. DHS website further noted that the publication of the list aligns with President Trump’s mass deportation agenda. “Under DHS leadership, the hardworking men and women of DHS and ICE are fulfilling President Trump's promise and carrying out mass deportations - starting with the worst of the worst - including the illegal aliens you see here,” the notice added.
Fraud Saga and Deportation
This development marks the conclusion of a years-long fraud saga that ultimately led to Montrage’s conviction and deportation to Ghana. Hajia4Reall was initially detained in the United States and later deported to Ghana after completing her prison sentence at the Federal Detention Center in Philadelphia. She was sentenced to one year and one day in prison following her conviction in a related fraud case before her return to Ghana.
