Marvinesha Hopkins, 33, has been charged with murder after allegedly killing her boyfriend with a wooden board that had nails in it. The incident occurred in Louisville, Kentucky, following a domestic argument.

Altercation Leads to Fatal Attack

According to court documents obtained by local outlet WLKY, Hopkins was arrested on June 20 after an altercation with her boyfriend. She told police that her boyfriend punched her in the face during an argument, prompting her to hit him with a glass bottle and a wooden stick. Later, she allegedly struck him with a wooden board that a witness claimed had nails in it.

The victim was found unconscious and was hospitalized, requiring a ventilator. Hospital staff reported that the victim had a cut on his head. He died in the hospital on June 25.

Hopkins was charged the next day with domestic-violence-related murder. The case highlights the tragic consequences of domestic violence and the use of deadly weapons in heated confrontations.
