The incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday in the Maraban Rido community of Chikun Local Government Area, where Venerable Emmanuel Dzigga, the priest in charge of St. John's Anglican Church, and his wife were taken by armed assailants.

Security Forces Launch Manhunt

According to local sources, the kidnappers stormed the clergyman's residence around 2:00 AM, breaking into the home and seizing the couple before fleeing into the night. The Kaduna State Police Command has confirmed the incident and initiated search operations to secure the safe release of the victims.

"Security agencies have been deployed to the area and are working tirelessly to ensure the safe return of the reverend and his wife," a police spokesperson stated.
