In a video released by The Cable on Tuesday, May 19, a traditional priest identified as Muraina Mutairo, the Onisa of Esin Ele, was seen performing rituals to invoke local deities. The priest called upon spiritual forces to hunt down the kidnappers and ensure the safe return of the captives.
