The special parade and wreath-laying event was held at the Arcade Ground within the Governor's Office complex in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta. Representing Governor Abiodun, the Deputy Governor, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, performed the symbolic act of laying a wreath at the Memorial Cenotaph for Fallen Heroes.
In his address, Governor Abiodun emphasized that the nation's current peace and unity are direct results of the patriotism and ultimate sacrifice made by these brave men and women.
