Ude, a senior Nigerian military intelligence officer, after he resisted their attempt to abduct him at his residence in Badna, New Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State on Monday evening, July 27, 2026. The three victims were rushed to a hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment. From what investigators have gathered, they wanted to take him away, but he fought back. Unfortunately, he paid the ultimate price,” the source said. The injured victims are said to be in stable condition at an undisclosed medical facility.

He reportedly participated in numerous operations against insurgents in the North-East, demonstrating bravery and tactical acumen. Burial Arrangements

Colonel Ude's burial is scheduled to take place on Tuesday at the Mambilla Mosque in Abuja, in accordance with Islamic rites.
