Imo Police Commissioner Commits to Strengthening Rural Security

Commissioner of Police for Imo State Command, CP Audu Garba Bosso, has provided firm assurances to community leaders, traditional rulers, religious heads, and other key stakeholders regarding the enhancement of robust security measures in rural areas. He reiterated the command's unwavering dedication to combating crimes and criminal activities, guaranteeing adequate security, and ensuring the general safety of all residents across the state.

New Police Operational Base Commissioned in Assa Community

CP Bosso delivered these assurances during the official commissioning ceremony of a modern, newly constructed Police Operational base in Assa Community, located within the Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State. The facility was built by Anoh Gas Processing Companies Limited (AGPC Ltd) as part of their corporate social responsibility initiatives. The event took place on Wednesday, marking a significant step towards improved law enforcement infrastructure in the region.

The Commissioner expressed profound appreciation to AGPC Ltd, their partners, and other stakeholders for funding and completing this critical project. He assured that adequate police personnel will be deployed to the operational base to maximize its effectiveness in maintaining security. CP Bosso also called on residents to actively cooperate with and support the police by reporting criminal and suspicious activities promptly, advocating for the "See Something, Say Something" approach to community policing.

Reward Evans, all extended their gratitude to AGPC Ltd for building the facility. They commended CP Bosso for the improved security conditions in the state and pledged their support to protect the new infrastructure.
