Joy Ottah Onyenenue, whose father served as a naval officer, stated that the lieutenant's composed demeanour under provocation perfectly exemplifies the core values of the Nigerian Navy.
In a detailed Facebook post published on November 17, 2024, Onyenenue explained that her childhood in the barracks gave her firsthand insight into the character of military men.
