Carry1st and Call of Duty: Mobile have launched the Carry1st Africa Cup 2026, the continent's biggest mobile esports tournament. The Grand Finals will take place in Lagos, Nigeria, on September 5-6, 2026, featuring a $30,000 prize pool.

Tournament Overview

The Carry1st Africa Cup 2026 is the largest Call of Duty: Mobile tournament in Africa and serves as the official African qualifier for the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2026. Qualifiers begin on June 19, leading to a live Grand Finals weekend in Lagos.

Regional Structure

The tournament spans five regions: Nigeria, West Africa, North Africa, South Africa, and East Africa. Competitors will battle through Regional Finals, with the strongest teams advancing to the Grand Finals. Southern Africa will host a LAN final on July 19 in Cape Town, and East Africa on July 26 in Nairobi, Kenya.

Grand Finals

Eight teams from across Africa will converge in Lagos for the Grand Finals. The champion will represent Africa at the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2026, competing for a share of a $500,000 global prize pool. The tournament also offers a $30,000 prize pool, the largest for a mobile tournament in Africa.
