Chelsea Could Sign 4 Real Madrid Stars If Alonso Becomes Manager

Chelsea are reportedly keen on appointing former Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso as their new manager after the 2025/26 Premier League season concludes. The Blues have already held talks with the Spaniard, who could bring several Real Madrid stars with him to Stamford Bridge.

Four Real Madrid Stars Chelsea Could Target

According to reports, four Galacticos players are ready to join Alonso at Chelsea if he takes over. Here are the potential targets:

1) David Alaba

The Austrian defender is expected to become a free agent in June and could be available without a transfer fee. Although the 33-year-old has struggled with recurring injuries in recent seasons, he could add valuable experience to Chelsea's unstable defence since Thiago Silva's departure in 2024.

2) Aurelien Tchouameni

The France international has reportedly fallen out with sections of the Real Madrid hierarchy after an alleged altercation with captain Federico Valverde. He was fined €500,000 for bringing the club into disrepute. Tchouameni enjoyed regular playing time under Alonso and could be a bargain option for Chelsea this summer.

3) Arda Guler

The Turkish youngster is admired by Alonso, who gave him a prominent role at Real Madrid, using him as both a central midfielder and winger. Chelsea's recruitment strategy has focused on young talent, and Guler could follow in the footsteps of successful signings like Cole Palmer.

4) Gonzalo Garcia

Real Madrid may allow the Spanish striker to leave due to limited opportunities behind Kylian Mbappe. Garcia scored the first goal of Alonso's era at Real Madrid during the FIFA Club World Cup. The 22-year-old has six goals and three assists in 36 appearances, though only 13 starts.

Chelsea have also contacted Andoni Iraola as a potential replacement after sacking Liam Rosenior. The Spanish manager will leave Bournemouth at the end of the season, and Chelsea have reached out to know his plans.
