Eight minutes later, Osimhen showed his selfless side, teeing up Yunus Akgun rather than going for goal himself to make it 2-0. Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk was full of praise for his squad after the final whistle, saying the performance showed clear progress from their previous outing. “Of course, it was a really great football atmosphere. There was a great pitch,” he said via GS TV. “We had great possession in the first half. We did that even more in the second half. We protected the game, we protected the score, we tried to increase the lead. Not conceding a goal is good, scoring four goals is good. I want to congratulate my players.”
