The squad and its officials will depart from Cairo, Egypt, and arrive in the historic city of Fés, Morocco, on Thursday, December 18. They will travel aboard a chartered flight to ensure a seamless transition to their tournament base. The team had earlier set up a training camp in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, starting from Sunday, December 14, to fine-tune strategies and build cohesion ahead of the competition.

While in Cairo, the Super Eagles, under the guidance of coach Eric Chelle, engaged in a high-profile pre-AFCON friendly match against the host nation, Egypt. The encounter took place at the Cairo International Stadium on Tuesday night, serving as a vital test for both sides.
For the tournament proper, the three-time African champions have been placed in Group C alongside the Taifa Stars of Tanzania, the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia, and the Cranes of Uganda. All of Nigeria's group phase matches will be held at the Complexe Sportif de Fés stadium.

The Super Eagles will begin their campaign with an opening match against Tanzania.
