Experts Push Innovation & Partnership for Nigeria's Digital Future
Innovation Key for Nigeria's Sustainable Digital Ecosystem

Leading technology experts have emphasized that strategic innovation and robust partnerships are the cornerstones for building a sustainable and inclusive digital ecosystem in Nigeria and across Africa.

Unified Platforms for Sustainable Growth

The call was made at a recent digital transformation conversation held in Lagos. Adeyinka Adedokun, the Chief Executive Officer and Principal Consultant of Avetium Consult Limited, highlighted the critical importance of integration. He argued that unified technological platforms are essential for achieving long-term, sustainable growth and operational efficiency for organizations.

"When you have an integrated system, you are likely to get more benefits," Adedokun stated during his address. He further identified data as the most vital asset for any modern organization, a resource that cannot be effectively harnessed with a fragmented technological setup.

Avetium's Vision and Zoho Partnership

Detailing his company's role in this ecosystem, Adedokun revealed that Avetium Consult is the first premium partner of Zoho in West Africa, a collaboration that was also reflected in the event's co-sponsorship. He expressed a bold ambition for the firm to become a point of reckoning across Africa, guided by core values of creativity, integrity, and strong client relationships.

The practical application of this vision is already underway. Since 2018, Avetium has leveraged Zoho's infrastructure to develop tailored solutions, including payroll and e-procurement systems for various organizations. This effort has seen significant traction, with the firm now serving over 200 companies. Looking ahead, Adedokun announced the development of the Avetium Academy, an initiative designed to extend knowledge and benefits to a wider array of firms.

Moving Beyond Buzzwords to Real Value

In a complementary keynote address, Olubayo Adekambi, CEO and co-founder of EqualyzAI, stressed the need for businesses to intentionally integrate technology. He explained that the goal is to automate and systematize how value is created, ensuring competitive advantage.

Adekambi urged a move beyond the hype surrounding digital transformation. For him, the true measure of success is whether technology drives business advocacy and prompts clients to ask critical questions about their solutions. He insisted that if technology is not actively promoting and growing the business, then the optimal return on digital investment is not being realized.

He concluded by noting the tangible benefits driving adoption, stating, "Many businesses are adopting digital transformation to get more value. It makes customer experience better and reduces cost."
