The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has partnered with TechNexus Limited to host the Port Harcourt Tech Expo 2026, themed “Syntropy.” This two-day technology conference and exhibition is scheduled for June 11 and 12, 2026, at the EUI Events Center in Port Harcourt.

Event Highlights

The expo aims to position the Niger Delta as a leading innovation hub in Nigeria. It will feature keynote speeches, startup pitch competitions, panel discussions, product showcases, and networking opportunities. Organizers expect entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, tech professionals, startups, and creatives from across the region, Nigeria, and the diaspora.

Strategic Partnership

Belema George, Managing Director of TechNexus Limited, emphasized that the partnership with NDDC aligns with the commission's mandate for sustainable development through innovation and digital inclusion. He noted that the theme “Syntropy” represents constructive synergy among innovators, institutions, and investors to accelerate regional development.

Private sector stakeholders, including financial institutions, energy companies, and telecommunications firms, have also backed the initiative. George described the expo as a movement to reshape perceptions of the Niger Delta and unlock opportunities for young innovators.

“The Port Harcourt Tech Expo is our declaration that the Niger Delta is open for innovation. We are building a platform where brilliant minds can access resources, mentorship, and market access,” George said. He added that organizers are engaging additional sponsors committed to the region's digital and economic advancement.
