Senior compliance officers, governance professionals, legal practitioners and regulators from across Africa are set to converge in Lagos for the Africa Ethical Compliance Future 2026 forum, scheduled for May 21, 2026. The one-day executive forum is expected to attract over 100 senior-level participants from African and international markets.
Focus on Ethics and Compliance
According to the organisers, the conference will focus on ethics, regulatory compliance and corporate governance, amid growing calls for stronger accountability, transparency and alignment with global regulatory standards across African institutions. The event comes at a time when organisations within the financial services sector, fintech industry and the wider private sector are facing increasing pressure to demonstrate governance maturity and ethical business practices beyond basic regulatory compliance.
Keynote Statements
Speaking ahead of the event, the Founder of CCC Consultancy Group Ltd said compliance had evolved into a key pillar for institutional credibility and trust. "Across Africa and globally, compliance is no longer just about meeting regulatory requirements; it is about building institutions that can be trusted," the founder stated.
Also speaking, Founder of Graypatch Advisory Limited, Ayobami Adisa, described the conference, which will take place at the Radisson Blu Hotel, as timely, noting that Nigeria must continue to strengthen its reputation for ethical business conduct. "This conference is both timely and necessary. As Nigeria seeks to strengthen its global reputation for ethical business conduct, there is a clear need to equip compliance practitioners with the tools, knowledge and perspective required to navigate rapidly evolving global standards," Adisa said.
Bridging Local and Global Standards
He added that the forum was designed to bridge the gap between local compliance practice and global expectations while promoting a stronger compliance culture across institutions. Discussions at the event will cover emerging regulatory trends across African jurisdictions, the role of corporate boards in driving ethical culture, transparency obligations for regulated entities and the intersection between environmental, social and governance priorities and compliance frameworks.
Participants and Organisation
Panel sessions and presentations will feature experts and practitioners from Africa, the United Kingdom and other international markets, with participants expected from the private sector, government institutions, regulatory agencies and civil society organisations. The forum is jointly organised by Graypatch Advisory Limited and CCC Consultancy Group Ltd.
