Mr Okwudili brings a wealth of expertise to his new position, boasting over twenty-five years of relevant banking experience. His career has encompassed a diverse range of critical areas, including credit and marketing, treasury operations, compliance frameworks, and general banking operations. Throughout his tenure at Zenith Bank, he has served in various zones and departments, gaining comprehensive insights into the institution's multifaceted operations and contributing significantly to its growth and development.
Academic Credentials and Professional Qualifications
Kennedy Okwudili's educational background is both robust and impressive. He earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Accounting from the University of Maiduguri, Nigeria, in 1998, achieving a Second Class Upper division. Furthering his education, he obtained a Master's of Business Administration (MBA) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria, in 2008, and a Master's of Science in Accounting from Veritas University, Abuja, Nigeria, in 2021. Professionally, he holds several esteemed certifications: he is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) since 2013, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) as of 2024, and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) since 2016.
