Lagos Executive Roundtable to Tackle 2026 Economic Shifts for Nigerian Businesses
Lagos Roundtable to Probe 2026 Business Strategy Shifts

A major leadership forum is set to convene in Nigeria's commercial capital to help business leaders prepare for the significant economic and policy shifts anticipated in the coming year. The Connectors Code, a platform for strategic dialogue, will host the Lagos edition of its Executive Roundtable Series on December 18, 2025.

Navigating a Complex Business Landscape

The event, themed “Positioning for Growth in 2026: Scalable Efficiency, Policy Alignment and Capital Management,” responds directly to the mounting challenges facing Nigerian enterprises. Organisers note that companies are currently grappling with tighter liquidity, evolving monetary conditions, widespread cost pressures, and relentless technological disruption.

This roundtable aims to move beyond traditional, isolated decision-making. It is designed as a collaborative space where senior executives can jointly interrogate emerging risks and opportunities. The goal is to equip them with practical insights to build stronger institutional resilience.

Who Will Be Shaping the Dialogue?

The gathering will feature a powerful roster of confirmed participants from leading national and international organisations. Attendees will include senior representatives from Access Bank Private Banking, KPMG, EY, Danone, Shell Energies, Novac Payment Solutions, BRB Capital, Ridgecrest Medical Group, KS Legal, and Crello Global.

Delegates with academic ties to prestigious institutions like the London Business School, Harvard Business School, and Lagos Business School are also expected to contribute to the discussions.

Interactive Sessions on Critical Themes

The roundtable is structured as an interactive peer-learning experience, not a series of lectures. Each session will begin with concise expert insights, followed by facilitated discussions where leaders can exchange real-world experiences, test assumptions, and evaluate future scenarios.

Key topics on the agenda include:

  • Aligning corporate strategy with Nigeria's monetary and fiscal policy.
  • Driving enterprise efficiency in a high-cost environment.
  • Strategic management of capital flows.
  • Navigating the evolving tax landscape.
  • The implications of artificial intelligence for business models in emerging markets like Nigeria.

Founder's Vision for Collaborative Leadership

The Connectors Code was founded by Nkem Igwe, an award-winning strategist recognised for her work in business performance and leadership development. She emphasises that the forum was created to support leaders navigating an era of accelerated change.

“In this era of accelerated change, no leader can rely on expertise alone,” Igwe stated ahead of the event. “Modern leadership is strengthened by peer intelligence... This Roundtable was created as a space where leaders can step outside the noise, interrogate the shifts shaping 2026 and sharpen the clarity required for decisions that endure.”

The Lagos event marks the first in a planned multi-city series. Future sessions are expected to explore digital transformation, capital strategy, human capability development, diaspora engagement, and Africa's growing role in the global economy, with further details to be released in the coming months.
