Adefunke Adeteju Kuyoro, the former president of the Association of Professional Party Organisers and Event Managers of Nigeria (APPOEMN), has died at the age of 64. Her death was confirmed in a statement released by her family on Saturday, June 6, 2026. According to the family, Kuyoro “peacefully transitioned to glory” on June 2, 2026.
Kuyoro’s company, TWC Events Services, also issued a statement jointly with the Kuyoro family, expressing profound grief over the loss of their CEO. The statement described her as a pillar, inspiration, and the heart of the organization.

Kuyoro, a native of Ikeja, Lagos State, was widely respected for her contributions to the events management sector in Nigeria. She served as president of APPOEMN, where she championed professionalism and excellence in party planning and event management.
