The company's commitment to recognising these values was the focal point of its 12th annual 'Celebrating You' awards ceremony.
A Night of Gratitude and Vision in Lagos
The prestigious event unfolded at the Eko Hotels & Suites in Lagos, bringing together a formidable gathering of influential partners, distinguished industry leaders, and eminent personalities. Themed "Africa's Digital Renaissance," the evening was dedicated to celebrating loyalty, groundbreaking innovation, and outstanding performance in the ICT sector.
In her opening address, the Coordinating Managing Director of TD Africa, Chioma Chimere, framed the night as a sincere gesture of gratitude. She stressed that the company's sustained growth and market leadership are fundamentally built on the reliability, trust, and exceptional results delivered by its partners. Chimere emphasised that 'Celebrating You' serves as a powerful reminder that every milestone achieved in the technology landscape is a collective triumph.
Leadership Calls for Collaborative Digital Renaissance
Echoing and expanding on this theme of shared achievement, TD Africa's CEO, Chioma Ekeh, addressed the audience with a compelling vision. She urged all stakeholders to actively embrace what she described as "Africa's Digital Renaissance." Ekeh proclaimed that the continent is on the cusp of a transformative era driven by technological advancement.
"With the power of technology, we are making a comeback. The interruption is over, Africa's Renaissance is here, and this time it is digital," she stated. "And a renaissance is never built by a company or person; it is built by partnerships. That is why tonight, we celebrate the architects of the technology landscape."
The Chairman of the Zinox Group, Leo Stan Ekeh, provided a philosophical counterpoint, centring his message on integrity and purpose. He opined that these twin virtues are the essential compass for both life and sustainable business. "Technology may power the future, but it is integrity and purpose that sustain it. It is this foundation that will shape Africa's digital renaissance," he remarked.
