Blord recounts terrifying kidnap attempt, dramatic escape

Blord's Terrifying Ordeal

Nigerian crypto entrepreneur Blord, whose real name is Linus Williams Ifejirika, has sparked online controversy after narrating an alleged kidnap attempt he experienced while driving his son to school. In a video circulating on social media, Blord described how a blue Corolla double-crossed his vehicle, leading to a dramatic escape. The businessman claimed that four armed men emerged from the Corolla and shot at his tires, but he managed to evade them by activating his Mercedes GLA's sport mode and speeding away. Blord stated that his son and his wife's elder sister were also in the car during the incident.

Details of the Escape

According to Blord, the incident occurred around 7am while he was taking his son to school. He recounted: 'I was taking my son to school around 7am in the morning, I got a Blue Corolla double cross my car, four guys with guns came out and shot my tire, they chased me because my GLE, I put it on sport mode, I vanished, their Corolla couldn't keep up, my son and my wife's elder sister, we were three in the car.' The video quickly went viral, drawing mixed reactions from netizens who questioned the plausibility of his account.

Netizens Question the Account

Many social media users expressed skepticism about Blord's story. Some pointed out inconsistencies, such as the claim that his tires were shot yet he was able to drive away. Others noted that the Mercedes GLA, a four-cylinder vehicle, may not have the performance to outrun a Corolla. Comments included: 'They shot your tire and you put it on sport mode' and 'lol this man too lie Them shot your tyre but e no less No just wish yourself bad because if e truly happen you for no fit escape am because nobody go help make them no die.' Another user remarked: 'They shot ur tyre, but somehow ur GLA , a 4 plug ,,got on sport mode and u vanished Weh done oh.'

Blord's Previous Controversies

This is not the first time Blord has shared dramatic stories. In related news, Legit.ng reported that Blord previously described his time in Kuje prison as a 'vacation,' claiming he was held in the Very Important Personnel (VIP) section, which he likened to an NYSC camp. He bragged about having access to special privileges, including a personal chef, and claimed the prison was locked down in his honor. These statements have further fueled public skepticism about his credibility.

Attempt to Compensate Sowore

In another incident, Blord attempted to compensate activist Omoyele Sowore for his role in securing his release from Kuje prison. A video showed Blord gesturing toward Sowore as though offering money, but the activist politely declined. The exchange drew attention, with many focusing on Sowore's calm reaction and Blord's persistence. This incident has added to the mixed perceptions of Blord's public persona.
