Billionaire Realtors Group (BRG), Nigeria's largest real estate marketing company, recently hosted its Sales and Growth Summit, designed to equip entrepreneurs with practical strategies for improving efficiency, driving profitability, making sales, and enabling sustainable growth. The event brought together over 1,000 young leaders, entrepreneurs, stakeholders, and professionals from across Nigeria, creating a vibrant space for networking, learning, and championing the vital roles that drive revenue growth in the country's real estate industry.
Summit Theme and Key Discussions
Themed “Closing Deals, Building Networks, Creating Wealth,” the summit served as a platform for high-level, solution-focused conversations on the evolving real estate marketing landscape. Panelists emphasized that growth is not a matter of luck and that sales can be systematically engineered. They stressed the importance of combining the right systems, marketing structures, follow-up plans, and advertising strategies—whether through social media or educational content—to create predictable income streams.
Insights from BRG President
Dr. Emmanuel Abikoye, President of BRG, highlighted that the real estate market has evolved rapidly due to changes in buyer behavior, investor expectations, and increased competition. He underscored the importance of knowledge, structure, visibility, trust, and consistency to maintain sales and growth. “At BRG, we strongly believe that the future belongs to professionals who are willing to evolve, learn, adapt, and position ahead of the market. Because while some people see challenges in this economy, we in BRG see opportunities,” Abikoye stated.
Keynote Address on Relationship-Building
Delivering the keynote address, Dr. Tony Aspire Kolawole, Chairman of the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN) Lagos State Chapter, Cofounder of BRG, and Group CEO of Vista Holdings, emphasized the unmatched importance of relationship-building, skills, and regular training in modern sales. “Everyone cannot become a sales expert at once; they have to learn it. The real difference isn’t the market but what happens inside the realtor. It’s the same market, same property, same prices; the difference is always the realtor,” Kolawole said.
Due Diligence and Market Insights
Matthew Israel, Head of Due Diligence at BRG, shared insights on products, emerging markets, and verified data in the real estate industry. He reminded the audience that “it is a strategic opportunity to position themselves ahead of the ever-growing real estate market filled with enormous possibilities.”
Personal Branding in Real Estate
Omowunmi Akinifesi, CEO of Ltech, OmowunmiAKA, Luxpron, Build Valley Consulting, Lpoise, and 2005 Miss Nigeria, stressed the importance of personal branding in real estate. She went beyond theory, presenting real case studies on how realtors can build a brand that creates trust, loyalty, and repeated transactions. “Whilst you’re building your personal brand, you must wake up and keep reinventing yourself. You are your number one asset; you’re not just selling properties, you’re selling perception,” Akinifesi added.
Strategic Networking Advice
Dr. Adeyemi Adeniyi, Chairman of REDAN Ogun State Chapter and CEO of Deal Clinchers Homes Ltd, urged realtors to build strategic networks if they want bigger opportunities in real estate. He acknowledged the importance of joining social clubs, sports clubs, associations, and religious groups. “High value relationships create high value transactions, because growth in this industry is built on visibility, trust, and influence. You also have to post valuable content on social media to be more visible and gain influence,” Adeniyi emphasized.
Other Dignitaries and Conclusion
Other dignitaries at the summit included Abiodun Sodiq Kosoko, CEO of Eystone Development; Adeola Adewale, CEO of Landvest; Sarunmi Kolawole, Managing Director of Western Giant Homes; Pastor Geraldine Odia, Director of Operations at BRG; Dr. Laide Okubena, Head of Recruitment at BRG; Lawrence Agada, Welfare Officer at BRG; and Albert Okpa Edim, Head Coordinators at BRG. The Sales and Growth Summit organized by BRG proved to be more than just a knowledge-sharing session. BRG is playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of business in Nigeria and beyond.
