Renowned spiritual leader Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye has shared a remarkable testimony of divine intervention that saved him and his wife from what he described as a "sure accident" during their missionary work in central Africa years ago.
The Miraculous Central Africa Journey
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) recounted the harrowing experience during the recent Abuja Special Holy Ghost Service, which carried the theme "Fear Not." Pastor Adeboye revealed that the life-threatening incident occurred during a trip between Zambia and Congo, where they faced multiple near-fatal collisions.
"I have seen accidents and I know safety is of The Lord," the respected cleric declared to the congregation. "If God says He will protect you, He will protect you. I have seen what you could call sure accident happening."
Multiple Narrow Escapes From Death
Providing chilling details of the incident, Pastor Adeboye explained that their driver was not qualified to handle the challenging road conditions, yet insisted on driving them through the route. The situation became increasingly dangerous as they experienced four separate near-miss head-on collisions, each time escaping impact by less than one centimeter.
"When we went to Zambia years ago, and then from Zambia, we went to Congo. You can ask my wife," Adeboye testified. "The man who decided to drive us shouldn't drive. But he insisted, and we were strangers. At least four times, we missed head-on collision by less than one centimeter."
Message of Divine Assurance to Nigerians
Beyond sharing his personal testimony, Pastor Adeboye used the platform to encourage Nigerians facing various challenges to maintain their trust in God's protection. He emphasized that regardless of economic difficulties or personal struggles, divine security remains available to those who place their faith in God.
During a separate monthly thanksgiving service at the RCCG headquarters, The Throne of Grace in Ebute-Metta, Lagos, the spiritual leader assured believers that trust in God would prevent them from being moved by economic uncertainties. He extended prayers to multiple groups including singles, mature singles, waiting mothers, and expectant mothers along with their families.
Pastor Adeboye further explained that God possesses the power to accelerate blessings and breakthroughs, noting that what is destined for the future can be manifested in the present through divine intervention. This message of hope comes at a time when many Nigerians are seeking reassurance amid various national challenges.
The viral video testimony continues to inspire the cleric's millions of followers worldwide, reinforcing his longstanding message that ultimate protection and security come from God alone, regardless of circumstances that may appear threatening or insurmountable.
