The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) has successfully wrapped up a major spiritual gathering in Bayelsa State, marking a significant event for the church and its followers in the Niger Delta region.
A Crusade for Miracles and Faith
The two-day mega crusade, held on November 28 and 29, 2025, took place at the expansive Oxbow Lake Open field in Swali, Yenagoa. With the theme “Connecting To God Who Doeth Hard Things,” the event's core mission was dual-purpose: to win new souls for Christianity and to offer fervent prayers for individuals grappling with severe and persistent life challenges.
Addressing the congregation, the General Overseer of MFM Worldwide, Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, provided deep insight into the crusade's theme. He defined “hard things” as problems and situations that surpass normal human ability, logic, and understanding.
Drawing from scriptures including Jeremiah 32:27, Genesis 18:14, and Matthew 13:26, Dr. Olukoya delivered a powerful message of divine possibility. “The word, impossibility, is not in God’s dictionary,” he declared. He emphasized the existence of a supreme, overruling authority above all earthly circumstances, stating that when this divine voice speaks, it commands all situations and forces evil to flee.
Olukoya urged believers to cultivate unwavering faith, assuring them that “Heaven will never reject any cry from the heart.” He noted that while many people are dissatisfied with their conditions, a passionate, determined faith is crucial to invoking divine intervention.
Expansion and Dedication of New Regions
A landmark highlight of the crusade was the official dedication and inauguration of three new MFM administrative regions within Bayelsa State. This move signifies the church's growing footprint and structural consolidation in the South-South area.
The newly dedicated regions are:
- South-South Region 64 in Nembe-Bassambiri.
- South-South Region 26 in Igbogene.
- South-South 4 Mega Regional Headquarters in Yenagoa.
During the ceremony, Dr. Olukoya congratulated the people of Bayelsa for hosting and supporting the ministry's activities over a remarkable span of 25 years. To commemorate this silver jubilee of MFM's presence in the state, the General Overseer joined senior pastors and regional leaders in the symbolic cutting of anniversary cakes.
Ministry Across the Two-Day Event
The spiritual activities commenced a day before the main dedication. On Friday, Pastor Ladejola Abiodun, the Assistant General Overseer of MFM, ministered to the crowd at the same crusade ground, preparing the atmosphere for the weekend's events.
The historic gathering drew to a close on Sunday, not at the open field, but with a special Thanksgiving Service held at the newly dedicated Mega Regional Headquarters in Yenagoa. This service provided a fitting end to a weekend focused on faith, expansion, and celebration.
The successful crusade and regional dedications underscore MFM's ongoing commitment to evangelism and providing a spiritual haven for Nigerians facing diverse trials, reinforcing its position as a major force in the nation's religious landscape.
