The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has extended his congratulations to Stanley Uzochukwu, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Stanel Group and The Delborough Lagos, for successfully completing executive leadership programmes at two of the world's most prestigious institutions: the University of Oxford and Harvard Kennedy School.

In a letter dated May 20, 2026, the monarch lauded Uzochukwu's unwavering dedication to continuous education and personal growth. He described the businessman's academic achievements at these renowned institutions as a clear reflection of his commitment to societal progress and transformational leadership.
Uzochukwu recently completed several executive programmes at Harvard Kennedy School, including High Performance Leadership, Emerging Leaders, Leadership Decision Making, Leading Successful Programs using Evidence, and Strategic Leadership for Personal Effectiveness. He then went on to finish the High Performance Leadership programme at the University of Oxford in London.

The Ooni noted that this accomplishment further solidifies Uzochukwu's reputation as a business leader who is not only focused on enterprise growth but also dedicated to acquiring knowledge that can address broader societal challenges. "I have always known you as a lover of continuous education, a personality who dedicates himself to acquiring solutions to societal problems, thereby making life better for the common people," the monarch stated.
According to the royal father, the training and exposure gained from both institutions will further enable the entrepreneur to contribute meaningfully to leadership development, governance, entrepreneurship, and national progress. "As the world cannot wait for the deployment of the newly acquired knowledge, I wish to congratulate you once again and wish you success in your future endeavours," the Ooni added.
Uzochukwu's Business and Philanthropic Journey
Uzochukwu founded Stanel Group in 2012, building it into a diversified Nigerian conglomerate with interests spanning energy, hospitality, and retail. In 2023, he launched The Delborough Lagos, a luxury hospitality brand that has since hosted numerous global dignitaries, business leaders, and public figures. Beyond his business ventures, he remains actively involved in educational and institutional development through various leadership and governance roles.
