Shittu Sherif, a fresh graduate of Lagos State University (LASU), has earned a law degree and publicly shared his academic milestone, detailing key achievements and leadership positions he held on campus. In a LinkedIn post on June 24, Shittu described completing his final examinations as the end of a significant chapter in his life.
Graduate Shares Journey and Achievements
Shittu noted that he went from carrying law textbooks to carrying the title of law graduate. He revealed that he won the MSSN-LASU Freshers' Essay Competition and participated in several moot and mock competitions. “Every experience contributed to my growth both academically and personally,” he wrote.
Leadership Positions Held on Campus
Shittu listed several leadership roles he held during his time at LASU, including Honorable Justice of the Lagos State University Students' Union, Chief Whip of Equity Law Firm, Head of Media for NAMLAS LASU, Head of Media for the Law Students' Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN) Lagos State, Head of Media and Corporate Communications for the Federation of African Law Students (Nigeria), Chairman of the Equity Law Firm Academic/Legal Conference for 2025/2026, and Deputy Country Director for the West Africa Law Students Association.
He expressed gratitude to Allah for guidance and blessings, and thanked his parents, siblings, friends, and coursemates for their support.
