The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has officially released the list of candidates shortlisted for admission interviews into its secondary schools for the 2026/2027 academic session. The announcement, made on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, includes candidates selected for Junior Secondary School 1 at the Air Force Military School, Air Force Girls’ Military School in Jos, and other Air Force secondary schools across the country.
How to Check the NAF Admission Shortlist
According to a public notice issued by Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information at NAF headquarters, the list is available on the official NAF website at www.airforce.mil.ng and the Nigerian Air Force Education Command website. Candidates are advised to visit these portals to verify their entrance examination results and download sample interview letters for the screening exercise.
Interview Dates for Air Force Military and Girls' Schools
The NAF has scheduled interviews for admission into the Air Force Military School and Air Force Girls’ Military School in Jos in two phases. Batch A interviews will commence on August 3, 2026, while Batch B interviews are set for August 7, 2026. For candidates seeking admission into other Air Force secondary schools nationwide, interviews will begin on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
“The list of successful candidates is available on the Nigerian Air Force website and the Nigerian Air Force Education Command website,” the statement read, as reported by The Punch and Leadership.
Requirements for Shortlisted Candidates
All shortlisted candidates are required to use the online result-checking portal to confirm their results and obtain the necessary documents needed for the interview process. The NAF has also uploaded sample interview letters to the portal for download ahead of the screening exercise.
