The newly established facility, named the Elder (Dr) I.C. Egbuta ICT Centre, was constructed and generously donated by New Horizons Nigeria as part of its ongoing commitment to equipping Nigerian universities with modern resources. The centre boasts four fully equipped ICT studios, each outfitted with high-end computer systems, full air-conditioning, and a seating capacity for over 750 users. These features are designed to foster an optimal environment for digital learning and professional certification training, ensuring students have access to the latest technological tools.
Commissioning Ceremony and Key Remarks
The commissioning event was graced by dignitaries from across the country, with Modupe Adeleke Sanni representing the Chairman of the University Council, Chief Adedeji Adeleke, to officially open the centre. In her address, she commended New Horizons Nigeria for its sustained investment in the university and reaffirmed the council's dedication to strengthening this partnership in the coming years.
Professor Solomon Adebola, the Vice Chancellor of Adeleke University, also spoke at the ceremony, praising the organization for its consistent contributions to the technological advancement of the institution.
