Security Warnings and Important Advisories
JAMB has issued strong warnings against result manipulation and fraudulent activities. The Board cautioned candidates against using artificial intelligence or electronic tools to falsify scores, revealing that several individuals are already in custody for attempting to manipulate results.
"These actions are considered very serious crimes," stated JAMB officials. "At present, two candidates and one parent are being held because they used AI and other electronic methods to fake their results. Any candidate caught engaging in such dishonest behavior will face the full weight of the law."
Candidates were specifically warned not to tamper with SMS messages received from the official platforms (55019/66019) to create or alter scores for deceptive purposes.
Additional Important Information
- Portal Access: Use only JAMB's official websites - efacility.jamb.gov.ng or portal.jamb.gov.ng - to avoid falling victim to fraudulent websites and scams
- Password Recovery: If you've forgotten your password or email address, use the "Forgot Password" option on the portal or visit a JAMB office with your registration details
- Multiple Copies: Keep several printed copies of your result slip, as educational institutions typically request it during screening and admission processes
- Testing Schedule: The 2026 UTME testing period began on April 16 and will continue through April 22 at examination centers nationwide
JAMB emphasized that results will be made public as soon as they become available throughout the examination period. Candidates are advised to stay updated on official announcements regarding fees, deadlines, and any changes to the result checking and printing procedures.
