The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced the top performers of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Owoeye Daniella Jesudunsin, a female candidate from Ekiti State who sat for the exam in Ogun State, achieved the highest score nationwide with an impressive 372 out of 400 points.

Top Scorers and Their Choices

JAMB released the data during its 2026 Policy Meeting on Admission held in Abuja on Monday. Jesudunsin has selected Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) as her first-choice programme. In second place is Enwere Kingsley Ikenna, a male candidate from Imo State, who scored 370 points and applied to study Computer Science at NILE University of Nigeria. Third place goes to Bamisile Ayomide Emmanuel from Ondo State, who scored 369 points and applied to study Software Engineering at the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA).
