Dr. Abdulkadir Solagberu, the Imam at the National Mosque of Nigeria in Abuja, has commended the Registrar and Chief Executive of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Professor Is-haq Olanrewaju Oloyede, for elevating the board to unprecedented levels of probity and service delivery. In a statement released in Ilorin, Solagberu described Oloyede's tenure as a golden era in the history of the examination body.
Praise for Oloyede's Leadership
According to the Malami Ubandoma of Ilorin, Professor Oloyede has worked diligently to transform JAMB into not only the nation's most admired and credible examinations body but also a model for other public institutions to emulate. Solagberu expressed particular delight that the former Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin has proven to be an exemplary ambassador of the Nigerian Muslim community, never disappointing his primary constituency or the nation, whether as an academic or an administrator.
Call for Continued Excellence
He urged Oloyede, who also serves as the Secretary-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) and the Kuliyan Sokoto, to maintain his hard work, asserting that his place in the history of the nation's public service remains secure and illustrious. Solagberu, the proprietor of the proposed Darul Kitab University, praised Oloyede's patriotism and creativity while calling on other Nigerians, particularly Muslims, to emulate his sterling qualities to help the nation achieve its full potential.
The cleric concluded by wishing Oloyede long life, sound health, and happiness, enabling him to continue serving Allah and humanity for many more years to come.
