The Island Muslim Community (IMC), Lagos has extended its heartfelt congratulations to its Chairman, Board of Trustees (BOT), Alhaji Rafiu Adisa Ebiti, on his appointment as the Pro Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Crescent University, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Recognition of Leadership
The congratulatory message, jointly signed by the Vice-Chairman of the BoT, Alhaji Tijjani M. Borodo, and the Chairman of the Executive Council (Exco), Alhaji Niyi Akinlusi, described Ebiti’s elevation as a testament to his unwavering commitment to education, exemplary leadership, and enduring service to humanity.
“Your well-known passion for advancing educational opportunities, particularly your generous support for indigent students, widows, and the less privileged through the Ibeji Foundation, speaks volumes about your character and sense of responsibility to society. We also recognise and deeply respect your distinguished standing among the Muslim community in Southwestern Nigeria.
“Your reputation for integrity, humility, and dedication to the upliftment of others makes you uniquely suited for this important role. We are confident that under your leadership, Crescent University will continue to flourish as a centre of academic excellence, moral discipline, and community impact,” the letter read.

The IMC prayed to God to grant him the wisdom, strength, and good health to discharge his duties successfully. “May your tenure bring about remarkable progress and lasting positive transformation to the University and beyond,” the statement added.
