The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has officially inaugurated a 12-member Caretaker/Electoral Committee tasked with overseeing the election of new student leaders for the institution's approximately 40,000 students.
Committee Leadership and Composition
Biliaminu Al-Amin Adesina, a 500-level student of Pure and Applied Chemistry, has been appointed as the Chairman of the committee. Prior to this role, he served as Chairman of the Chemistry Students' Caretaker Committee. The Secretary of the new committee is Adedokun Ibrahim Oyinlola.
Other members of the committee include Odediran Eniola Gloria, Gbadamosi Sheriffdeen Ajibola, Alabede Fathia Adetola, Adigun Esther Ololade, Bello Abibat Wuraola, Egbeyale Goodness Ayomide, Olagbende Emmanuel Mayowa, Ojo Humusalam Olatomiwa, Olajide Juliana Oluwatosin, and Adegboyega Itunnu Busayo.
Inauguration Ceremony
The inauguration was conducted by the University Vice Chancellor, Professor Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu. During the ceremony, the Dean of Students, Dr. John Adewusi Adepoju, informed the university leadership that all committee members were the best students in their respective Faculties.

The event was also attended by other high-ranking university officials, including the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Strategy and Development), Professor Tunde Ogunkunle; Dean, Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences, Professor Olusope Alade; Dean of Students, Dr. John Adewusi Adepoju; Deputy Dean of Students, Dr. Oluwafisayo Adebimpe; and Deputy Dean of Students II, Dr. Michael Ajadi.
