A young Nigerian lady, Olorungbemi Adeola Temitope, has celebrated the successful completion of her medical studies at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), sharing her inspiring eight-year journey with the public.
From Pre-Degree to Medical Doctor
Identified on TikTok as @temmyj07, she recounted her academic path from gaining admission through the OAU Moro Pre-Degree programme to being inducted into the medical profession on May 18, 2026. She expressed that this milestone took her down memory lane, recalling the burning passion she had for medicine and surgery from the start.
In her own words: 'I resumed at OAU Moro Pre-Degree with a burning passion for Medicine and Surgery. Not a single day went by without me burying myself in books, organizing group discussions, and pushing myself beyond limits.'
Lessons in Hard Work and Discipline
She emphasized that one of the greatest lessons learned was the direct link between hard work and success in medicine and life. 'To achieve any meaningful goal, one must possess deep commitment, consistency, and discipline (in the right direction, of course),' she stated.
Reflecting on the sacrifices, she added: 'Today, I exchange all the tears, sweat, discomfort, sacrifices, delays, and the long eight-year journey for the title I have truly earned. I officially introduce: DR. OLORUNGBEMI ADEOLA TEMITOPE MBChB (Ife).'
