A young Nigerian man, Oluwasegun Akinwola, has celebrated the conclusion of his physiotherapy studies at the University of Ibadan (UI) alongside his lover, Jacintha. The couple both graduated with first-class honors and emerged as the best male and female graduating students in the Department of Physiotherapy.
Oluwasegun, who goes by the handle @_numuno on X, shared a picture of himself and Jacintha, highlighting their achievements. He listed their awards, including being named Best Graduating Male Student and Best Graduating Female Student, respectively. He also noted that they were recognized as the Association of Physiotherapy Students' Couple of the Year four times, UCH Students' Association Couple of the Year once, and Alexander Brown Hall Power Couple of the Year once.
Personal Achievements
In addition to their joint accomplishments, Oluwasegun shared his individual feats as an undergraduate at UI. He won the ACAPN International Scientific Conference Inter-University Quiz Competition, where he was the sole representative from UI against schools with two representatives each. He also won the ABH League and earned the Coach of the Season award, leading his team to an unbeaten run after an initial defeat. Furthermore, he was recognized as an Egbe Omo Oduduwa Scholar, an award given to the highest-performing students from Yoruba states in UI.
