Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B has publicly cried out against what she describes as over a year of intense harassment and threats, revealing the situation has escalated to the point where she fears for her life.
The Breaking Point
The 33-year-old artist took to social media to express her frustration after what she claims has been more than twelve months of continuous drama. Cardi B declared she has reached her limit with the ongoing situation that she says has now become dangerous.
"Y'all be thinking it's so funny and it's not," the rapper wrote in since-deleted tweets. "It's been over a year and I'm still being harassed and threatened to the point that I feel like my life in danger... LEAVE ME TF ALONE."
Paternity Drama Escalates
The tension reportedly intensified after her estranged husband, Offset, made a controversial social media post. The Migos rapper posted and quickly deleted the comment "My kid lol," which many fans and observers interpreted as being directed at Cardi's newborn son with NFL star Stefon Diggs.
This move sparked widespread speculation about Georgia's paternity laws, where a woman's husband is automatically considered the father of any child born during the marriage, even if the couple is separated. Cardi and Offset were married for six years before she filed for divorce in 2024.
Private Harassment Goes Public
Cardi B emphasized that the harassment extends far beyond social media noise, occurring both privately and publicly. She revealed a disturbing pattern where private harassment escalates to public drama when she chooses to ignore it.
"When I get harassed privately and ignore it, that's when it goes public," she explained. The mother of four also claimed to have "every single receipt" documenting the harassment but admitted "I can't take it anymore."
The situation has become so severe that it's affecting her ability to sleep peacefully. "Sometimes I sleep and I wonder, 'This is not normal,'" Cardi shared. "You see crime documentaries... women getting killed every other day."
Offset's Response and Family Dynamics
Offset recently faced criticism online after posting a shirtless slideshow with the caption "Protecting my energy." Critics accused him of failing to adequately protect his family amid the ongoing drama.
The former couple shares three children together: Kulture, Wave, and Blossom. Cardi B recently welcomed her fourth child last week, with reports indicating that Stefon Diggs was present during the birth.
Despite the turmoil, Cardi is moving forward with her career and personal life. She announced her baby's arrival with a message about entering a new chapter focused on "healing, growth, and giving her children the life they deserve."
The rapper is preparing for her 35-date Little Miss Drama tour kicking off February 11, where she has promised fans the "performance of a lifetime" as she steps into what she calls her strongest era yet.
