Nigerian dancehall singer Cynthia Morgan has waded into the ongoing feud between the Okoye brothers, publicly siding with Peter Okoye and delivering scathing criticism of Jude Okoye, the elder brother and former manager of P-Square. In an Instagram post on August 7, she defended Peter's emotional outbursts, drawing on her own industry experiences to argue that artists often reach a breaking point after years of suppressed emotions.
Cynthia Morgan Defends Peter's Emotional State
Addressing public criticism of Peter's behaviour during the dispute, Cynthia pushed back against those who labelled his reactions as destructive. She explained that artists are conditioned to prioritise their craft over personal wellbeing, which can lead to explosive venting when they can no longer pretend.
"As an artiste, most of us are conditioned to always put our craft over anything. Love, grief, abuse, pressure etc. so when you see an artiste that you think has become destructive just know the've maxed out and can no longer pretend and until they vent or go to therapy Dey will never be normal," she wrote.
She tagged Peter directly in the post, captioning it: "The lord is close to the broken hearted @peterpsquare I wish you peace and salvation."
Cynthia's Direct Accusations Against Jude
In a separate post shared four days earlier, Cynthia made direct allegations against Jude Okoye, claiming to be a personal witness to his alleged wickedness. She wrote: "If there is one thing I know about judeengees I know for a fact that he can make the truth disappear either in front or behind the camera's I am a living witness of his wickedness."
She also addressed Jude's reported claim that Peter was "crashing out," calling it a divisive move. Cynthia pointed out that Peter had been trending due to a new song, contradicting that narrative. "You see how he quickly said Peter is crashing out because he is going down that is how toxic and divisive he is," she wrote, concluding: "Jude is not a good human being."
Hope for Judicial Resolution
Cynthia noted that the availability of chat logs and emails in the current dispute could offer a clearer path to the truth, expressing hope that the judiciary would deliver a fair outcome. This comes amid a family feud that has captured public attention, with multiple celebrities and fans weighing in.
Previous Reactions and Context
Earlier, Legit.ng reported Cynthia's reaction to allegations against Paul Okoye, aka Rudeboy, who was accused of molesting his house help. She criticised media personality Do2dtun for urging Rudeboy to pursue legal action, insisting people should avoid actions they cannot admit publicly. She also questioned whether having an affair with a house help is acceptable as long as it is not sexual assault.
The P-Square feud has escalated in recent weeks, with Peter accusing Jude of financial mismanagement and Paul of siding with Jude. Cynthia's comments add another layer to the public discourse, as she brings personal experience to the debate.
