Filmmaker and video producer Dammy Twitch has opened up about one of the most challenging moments of his life, revealing that he lost his father while working on a music video set. In an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Dammy Twitch shared the emotional story of how he received the devastating news while filming for Nigerian singer Patoranking.
A Painful Day on Set
According to Dammy Twitch, he was in the middle of shooting a music video for Patoranking when he got a call informing him that his father had passed away. Despite the overwhelming grief, he pushed through and completed the shoot. He described the day as extremely difficult, noting that he had to continue working after learning of his father's death.
Davido's Support
Dammy Twitch also revealed that Nigerian music star Davido stepped in to support him during that period. He recalled that Davido was willing to help and even offered to pay for the video. The singer went as far as taking a boat to meet him and his team, a gesture Dammy Twitch said he would never forget.
Convincing His Mother
Reflecting on his journey, Dammy Twitch also spoke about convincing his mother to support his career path. According to him, things changed when he started earning money and contributing financially at home. He emphasized the importance of perseverance and the support he received from those around him.
