Dayo Amusa Weighs In on Premarital Cohabitation and Sex

Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has shared her strong belief that couples should cohabit and engage in sexual intercourse before tying the knot, emphasizing the importance of sexual compatibility in a successful marriage.

The actress made her stance known while reacting to a statement by a pastor who declared, "If sex is not your thing, you shouldn't be married." Agreeing wholeheartedly with the clergyman, Dayo Amusa took to social media to elaborate on her views.

The Essence of Cohabitation Beyond Domestic Duties

In her response, Dayo Amusa wrote: "He’s right and that is why I do not believe people aren’t meant to co-habit before marriage. Two virgins getting married without any wild desires may cope, but for the tested ones, we all have our sexual desires, demands and preferences."

She further stressed that cohabitation serves a purpose far beyond sharing household chores. "The essence of co-habitation is beyond cooking and laying of bedsheets, sex is top 3 and it’s not even number two or three," she stated.

Recommendation for Sexual Compatibility

Dayo Amusa advised couples to thoroughly explore their physical connection before making a lifelong commitment. "Get down with your partners well so you’ll know what you’re planning to live with for life! I recommend sexual compatibility before decision is reached! P.S MY OPINION," she concluded.

The actress's comments have sparked discussions on social media, with many weighing in on the merits and drawbacks of premarital cohabitation and sex.
