Veteran Nollywood actress Faithia Williams has officially announced the burial arrangements for her beloved mother, Mrs Gloria Uzoamaka Williams, who passed away at the age of 78 on February 4, 2026. According to the announcement, the burial ceremonies will take place in Lagos from March 6 to March 8, 2026. The schedule includes a wake-keep on Friday, March 6, followed by interment and lying in state on Saturday, March 7. A Thanksgiving Mass will be conducted at St. Monica Catholic Church on Sunday, March 8, to conclude the proceedings.
Faithia Williams emphasized that the event will be a private ceremony, strictly by invitation only for close friends and relatives. She issued a clear warning that admission will be granted solely to those with invitations from designated contact numbers, ensuring exclusivity and privacy for the grieving family.
