Veteran television host Frank Edoho has shared his perspective on how men and women handle emotional struggles, stating that men often suffer in silence while women have a natural capacity to endure pain. In a recent YouTube video posted by Outside the Box Podcast, Edoho discussed the challenges of manhood and the hidden suffering many men experience.
According to Edoho, women are biologically equipped to handle turmoil and torture better than men, who tend to keep their struggles to themselves. He clarified that he does not believe women deserve suffering, but acknowledged their resilience. He noted, 'Whatever a man is going through, he is just silent, he doesn't say it, he holds it to himself, and some of them take it to the grave.'
During an emotional moment, Edoho reflected on life and legacy, expressing a desire to die with a smile on his face rather than from heartbreak caused by a woman. He stated, 'I don't want to go to the gate of heaven, and they asked what killed me, and I said it is a woman. Whether that woman be my daughter, wife or daughter. I don't want that to be my way out of this portal.'
His comments come amid ongoing controversy surrounding the collapse of his second marriage to estranged wife Sandra Onyenucheya. Reports initially linked singer Chike to the breakup, but Edoho confirmed they had been separated for nearly two years before the issue went viral. He said he had privately made peace with the situation long before public discussions intensified.
After Edoho addressed the reports, Sandra broke her silence on social media, accusing him of infidelity, emotional neglect, and financial irresponsibility. She revealed years of unresolved issues and emotional strain that led her to leave the marriage. As the drama unfolded online, old interviews and resurfaced comments by Edoho about relationships, marriage, heartbreak, and infidelity sparked debates among fans and social media users.
While some praised Edoho for initially remaining silent, others argued that both parties were gradually revealing deeply personal details about their failed marriage in the public space. The situation continues to fuel discussions about gender roles, emotional expression, and the pressures of public scrutiny.
