Friend Reveals Destiny Boy's Alleged Ritual Pact Before Death

A close friend of the late rising Afrofuji star, Destiny Boy, has made startling revelations about the singer's alleged actions in the pursuit of fame, just before his untimely death. The friend claims Destiny Boy confided in him about his plans and desperation to achieve global stardom rapidly.

Shocking Confessions from a Close Friend

The friend, identified on social media as @big_Badda, shared a lengthy post on platform X, detailing his final interactions with the singer, whose real name was Afeez Adeshina. According to the post, Destiny Boy visited him in Lagos in early 2020 and expressed a burning desire to rise quickly in the music industry, aiming to surpass established greats like Davido, Wizkid, and Olamide.

The friend advised patience and trusting in God's timing, but stated that Destiny Boy said he "could no longer wait." The friend admitted feeling he failed Destiny Boy by not standing firm with his counsel and instead being swayed by the singer's ambition.

The Alleged Pact for Fame and Its Tragic End

The X post narrates that Destiny Boy claimed to know a spiritual figure, referred to as "one baba," in Ogun State. The friend and others allegedly accompanied Destiny Boy to meet this figure, identified as Ikudaisi, popularly known as Ikudaisi Osha, in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.

According to the account, Ikudaisi agreed to perform a fame ritual for the singer, promising that Destiny Boy would be globally famous for five years. The friend lamented that the spiritualist did not disclose the potential repercussions or consequences of such an act.

The tragic outcome unfolded when the friend received a morning call from another singer, Bolisco, informing him that Destiny Boy was vomiting blood. He rushed to the singer's house but arrived to find that Destiny Boy had already passed away at the age of 22. The singer was reportedly buried on January 18, 2025, in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Public Reaction and Related Mourning

The friend's post has sparked massive reactions online, with the story trending widely. Many social media users expressed sadness and shock, while others questioned the narrative.

One user, @HonestarsenalF, commented, "This is the third person baba ikudaisi do juju for wey don dye this year alone." Another user, @cryptodavevid1, pointed out the irony, stating, "The baba said he would be popular that everyone will know him. But why don’t i know him am just hearing his name."

In a related development, a native doctor also mourned Destiny Boy on social media, posting a video of himself with the late singer on TikTok. The video drew attention, with netizens expressing concern over Destiny Boy's appearance in the clip.

The singer's death, initially reported with claims he vomited before passing, has thrown the Nigerian music community into mourning, leaving fans and colleagues grappling with the loss of a promising talent.
