Jarvis Fires Back at Ycee Over 'Peller Culture' Comment

Social media influencer and streamer Jarvis has fired back at rapper Ycee over his recent comments linking her partner Peller to what Ycee described as Nigeria's 'Olodo uprising.' In a video shared online, Jarvis defended Peller and questioned why content creators trying to earn an honest living are being criticized.

Jarvis Questions Government Support for Graduates

“Me that went to school and graduated, as government no give us work, what do you expect me to do?” Jarvis said. She argued that many graduates are struggling despite their qualifications, with some ending up doing jobs far below their expectations.

Defending Content Creation as a Livelihood

Jarvis also took issue with Ycee mentioning Peller by name while discussing what he called 'Peller culture.' “We are just trying to earn a living. A lot of people have turned to kidnapping and robbery. We are making people happy and earning from it,” she said.

Call for Respect Toward Online Entertainers

Jarvis added that people should not look down on content creators simply because they entertain online. “Don't think because we come online and act playful you can just say anything about us. What of me that went to school? What did the government do for me?” she asked.
