Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has announced plans for a grand public thanksgiving party to celebrate the arrival of his newborn triplets. The actor and his wife, actress Mo Bimpe, welcomed three baby boys last week and held a private naming ceremony in Lekki, Lagos State.

Private Naming Ceremony Details

The intimate ceremony was attended only by close friends and family. The couple gave their sons traditional names: Abdul Ramon Taiwo, Abdul Rahim Kehinde Adetona, and Abdulrokeeb Idowu Adebare. Each name carries deep cultural and spiritual significance.

Public Celebration in July

Hours after the naming ceremony, Lateef shared a video on X (formerly Twitter) showing himself, his wife, and the babies. He explained that the private event was just the beginning and that a larger celebration is planned for July. The exact date will be announced soon.

The actor expressed gratitude to fans and attendees: "Yesterday, we officially named our 3 kings in an intimate circle of love. Rahman, Raheem, Rakeeb. July, we're coming for you with the big celebration! The Thanksgiving party will be for everyone to witness God's goodness! Dates will be announced soon. We are forever grateful to God and to everyone that came to celebrate with us."

Addressing Viral Baby Photos

Lateef also addressed the viral images of babies circulating online, clarifying that those pictures were not of his children but were AI-generated. He stated: "Please note that the AI-generated baby photos circulating right now are not ours. Thank you for understanding."

Earlier, Lateef reacted to a fan's warning about handling his triplets. The fan, @usmanashafe on X, advised against allowing too many people to carry the newborns due to infection risks. Lateef acknowledged and appreciated the advice.
