McFish explained that if not for his estranged wife making their separation public, many people would not have known they had parted ways. He revealed that he had already moved out of the house in July 2025, while news of their split only surfaced publicly in December of the same year.

McFish also commented on the ongoing marriage drama involving TV personality Frank Edoho and his ex-wife. He questioned why private issues from a marriage were being discussed publicly online, arguing that if abuse truly occurred, proper authorities such as domestic violence agencies should be involved.
Using his own experience as an example, McFish said that when he left his marriage, he also left behind past relationships and people he had been involved with, choosing instead to start afresh.
Advice on Cheating and Revenge
McFish further stated that cheating does not solve cheating, adding that women who support revenge cheating in marriages may not fully understand the realities of committed relationships.
