Nigerian actress and film producer Regina Daniels has revealed that she has mentally ruled out the possibility of getting married again, following her separation from her ex-husband, Ned Nwoko. The Nollywood star made the disclosure while opening up about the emotional toll of being physically distanced from her children and sharing her unconventional aspirations for her future family.
Despite the ongoing challenges of her marital separation, the actress expressed a desire to expand her family but strictly on her own terms. She maintains that she has completely checked out of the institution of marriage but would love to have a baby girl. According to Daniels, raising a daughter offers a completely different dynamic, stating that a female child brings a more profound, unique understanding of the true meaning of motherhood.
She said, "The last time I saw my children was last year. I know one day, I will see them again, very soon. But for some reason I have checked my mind out of getting married but I am yet to have a girl and I must have a girl child. I feel like you would understand motherhood better when you have a girl child."
