Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri has sent a strong message to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu following the tragic Oyo school kidnapping incident that left a teacher dead. The attack, which occurred on May 20, 2026, involved 46 victims, including students and teachers. Terrorists killed teacher Michael Oyedokun during the assault.

Taking to Instagram, Kadiri expressed her frustration and fear over the worsening security situation in Nigeria. She emphasized that her concern was not about propaganda or political enemies trying to tarnish the president's image, but about the urgent need to protect lives and property.
In her post, she wrote: "This is not propaganda! This is not your enemies trying to make you look bad. And even if they were, you can’t leave your house on fire. Dear President Tinubu, pls do something, or give us the go-ahead to protect our lives and properties. Too much death everywhere. Being a Nigerian is not even safe at home anymore."
The actress further lamented that innocent Nigerians are suffering from problems they did not create, stressing that the country has become unsafe even within homes. She added, "Too many innocent lives are paying for sins they know nothing about."

The Oyo school kidnapping saw 46 individuals taken, including seven teachers and 39 students, with one victim reportedly as young as two years old. The killing of teacher Michael Oyedokun by terrorists has sparked widespread outrage and renewed calls for action against insecurity.
