Activist Raises Alarm Over Twin Sister's Silent Grief

Faith Agbro, the twin sister of Favour—a young woman who reportedly died by suicide after an alleged assault by Odogwu Asaba—has shared a disturbing dream that has alarmed activist Israel Joe. Joe, who witnessed Faith's reaction to the suspect's arrest in Asaba, posted about her condition on Facebook, describing her silent grief as unlike anything he had encountered.

Although Faith did not speak when she arrived at the police station, her swollen eyes, face, and body told their own story. Joe quietly pulled aside colleagues and Favour's family to flag what he observed, urging them to keep a close watch on her.

Dream of Vengeance

The only thing Faith said before leaving was that Favour appeared to her in a dream, telling her she must avenge her death. Joe noted that this was the first time Faith had slept in nearly three weeks since her twin sister was buried, making the dream all the more alarming.

The anguish extended to Favour's mother as well. According to Joe, she had not bathed since the burial, and only felt relief after he telephoned the father to say the suspect—referred to as 'Odogwu of Asaba'—had been arrested and the family should come to the station.

Call for Therapy and Monitoring

Joe closed his post with a direct appeal, calling on anyone around Faith to ensure she receives proper therapy and is not left alone. He emphasized the need for close monitoring to prevent further tragedy.

Public Reactions

Nigerians reacted with concern in the comments. Idu Stephen said: 'She really needs proper watch before she'll take her life too.' Ese added: 'I’m trying to think what’s going through her mind at that point in time. Justice should be served.'

Meanwhile, a lady identified as AlexandriaEkeh on X previously shared a chilling account of how she escaped Odogwu Asaba in April 2018, revealing that Ifeanyi Ogbonna, popularly called Odogwu Asaba, was a regular customer who gradually crossed boundaries.
