Paul Okoye's Accuser Evades Court After Arrest Over Rape Allegations
Woman Who Accused Paul Okoye of Rape Avoids Court

New developments have emerged in the legal case involving music star Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, and a woman who accused him of serious crimes on social media.

Legal Action Follows Social Media Allegations

The controversy began in September 2025 when a Twitter user identified as chubbiedivah made viral claims against the popular singer. She alleged that Paul Okoye had cheated on his ex-wife, Anita Okoye, with their housemaid and further claimed that he had either raped or coerced the domestic worker.

According to recent updates shared by netizen JJExclusive1, Paul Okoye followed through on his promise to take legal action against the woman for what he considered defamatory statements.

Arrest and Medical Release

The situation escalated when the woman was arrested on November 6, 2025 and subsequently detained by police authorities. She was formally charged to court on November 10, 2025, marking the beginning of the legal proceedings against her.

Interestingly, Paul Okoye reportedly chose to keep details of the arrest private to prevent public sympathy from influencing the course of justice.

During her detention, the woman began experiencing health complications within just 24 hours of being held. She complained of breathing difficulties and swollen legs, requiring immediate medical attention. After careful consideration by authorities, she was released to seek medical treatment with the understanding that she would return by November 10 as promised by her lawyer.

Repeated Court Absences

Contrary to the agreement made during her medical release, the woman failed to appear in court as scheduled. Her legal representative claimed that her health condition remained serious, preventing her from attending the court proceedings.

The case was then adjourned to November 17, 2025, but once again, the accused woman did not show up in court, maintaining that she still required medical supervision.

The court has now rescheduled the matter for December 1, 2025, with a strict order that either the woman or her lawyer must be present without fail.

Prior to these legal developments, the woman had disabled her X (formerly Twitter) account and disappeared from social media, reportedly leaving her husband's home in what appeared to be an attempt to avoid legal consequences.

Public Reaction to the Case

The ongoing legal battle has generated significant public discussion, with many social media users expressing their opinions about the situation.

One user, flasshy1, commented: "I too like rude boy. See as he run things low key."

Another user, Odogwu_Rico, stated: "This is a clear message that false accusations have serious consequences. Thank you for the detailed update. We must protect the integrity of real victims while ensuring no one is falsely accused."

Kaydeyjkj wrote: "Yoooo this one sweet me die, all her fellow feminist were saying nothing is going to happen to her they should fall out and be helping her now."

Hisgraceeric added: "This should serve as a deterrent to those accusing people falsely."

Meanwhile, Paul Okoye's ex-wife, Anita Okoye, has been focusing on her personal journey, recently sharing a message about choosing herself and reintroducing herself to the world as proudly African with a focus on wellbeing and deliberate living.
